The receptive skill of Listening require an understanding of the text (text here referring to recoding / voice) but also some related language work or other productive task before or after text. Therefore, there will be a great deal of overlap when discussing the four skills for the very reason that they are very rarely focused on in isolation in the classroom. Even isolating them in the unit titles is misleading! However, each of these four units have a primary focus and this one is Listening.
